About Comics:

Below are descriptions and sample pages from all the comics I have completed. Please click on the thumbnails to go to a full size page of the comic.

Wander No More - 2011 (Ongoing):

“Wander No More” is a tale of discovery, hope and loss. It’s an experiment in point-of-view. Told in four, seperate parts; the tales of Eric, Emily, Oliver and Caroline.

The first part, Eric's Story was completed in October 2011 and printed: it can be bought here. It is also running as a webcomic, updated twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays here and mirrored on smackjeeves here

The Adventures of Team Manginy - 2011 (Ongoing):

The Adventures of Team Manginy is a semi-autobiographical comic inspired by the goings on of me and some college friends. It currently can been seen on tumblr with semi-regular updates. It is also the first colour comic I have created.

The Adventures of Team Manginy can be read here.

Waves of Jealousy - 2010:

My entry to the Manga Jiman competition 2010, of which the theme was wave. It tells the story of a boy plagued by jealousy when his friend abandons him on a night out, and the kindly stranger who helps his insecurities.

It can be read here.

Something Brewing - 2010:

In a small cafe in an urban suburb, a strange story unfolds between a cafe worker and a regular visitor. She is a writer, struggling to make ends meet, while he is a twenty something waiter who should be in university. As they go through their day to day routine, will things ever change for them? And what will happen if they do?

My first completed, self published comic. 25 pages long, it is the longest comic I have completed to date and was first displayed at London Expo May 2010.

Really neatly presented little book with well-written, naturalistic dialogue and good pacing... Restrained and subtle without being bland, I thought it was very impressive. - Kate Holden, Writer and Artist of FanDanGo

I really liked Something Brewing - I thought the gentle emotion came through very clearly. - Morag Lewis, of Toothycat.net

Sun by Storm - 2009:

Originally written for the Manga Jiman competition 2009 - the theme was sun -, but not entered, Sun by Storm tells the story of two women trapped in a flat together while a massive storm rages outside. At eight pages long, it was tough to try and fit everything I wanted within the page count, but I think that it works.

Codename Pepsi - 2009:

Starting as a silly prompt about a secret agent named Pepsi, "Codename: Pepsi" quickly snowballed into a rather complex story involving Nazi bunnies, Dr. Pepper, and Freddie Mercury. With the taglines "Hot like a Wookie on Endor" and "We advise you not to read it", it was published by ITCH publishing, with only 50 copies made availible. More information on that here.

My part in this involved a rather silly story surrounding two secret agents - both codenamed Pepsi - who had been sent on the same mission, to stop Dr. Pepper and his evil robot bunnies to take over the world. This escapade took place over 15 pages, and was the first comic I ever successfully finished.
